Old McDonald comes to Marble

Look at those ribs!  They are even bigger and better this year.  New at Slow Groovin' BBQ is pork from Old McDonald Farms.  They will be providing all of our pulled pork, ribs, and pork bellies (for making bacon) this year.

Located in Brush on Colorado's Front Range, Old McDonald raises pork naturally, free from hormones or antibiotics.  Old McDonald raises only Heritage breed pigs, which means that their blood lines have a long history in the United States, sometimes hundreds of years. Heritage breeds are prized for their flavor and juiciness.  In order to develop their unique flavor, pigs are given the freedom to roam and feed in open pasture.  They also help to preserve diversity within the gene pool.  By purchasing Heritage breeds, we help protect endangered breeds, promote sustainable agriculture and guarantee the best flavor!
